PSHE & RSE
At Moss Hey Primary School, we provide our children with a high-quality PSHE education which is a planned, developmental programme of learning. Through the teaching of PSHE & RSE, our aim is to nurture children’s personal development from Early Years, giving them the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to lead healthy and happy lives. It is designed to match our pupils’ needs and to support us with our delivery of PSHE & RSE, we use planning and resources from 1Decision, PSHE Association, NSPCC, myHappyMind and other sources that we think will enhance children’s knowledge and understanding. PSHE is an important part of all pupils’ education, such as learning about healthy relationships, online harms, mental health and healthy lifestyles that will equip children with the tools needed to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life in modern Britain. Our curriculum supports our ethos of: Nurturing curious, resilient and ambitious learners.
