Published outcomes show that the proportion reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics at the end of key stage 2 is above national averages.

We are delighted that our pupils continue to achieve excellent outcomes, performing significantly above local and national averages in reading, writing and maths.

• 81% of pupils met the expected standard (compared with 66% locally and 62% nationally).

• 13% achieved the higher standard (compared with 10% locally and 8% nationally).

• Average scores in reading (110) and maths (109) were also above both local and national averages
