PSHE and RSE
At Moss Hey Primary School, we provide our children with a high-quality PSHE education that is a planned, developmental programme of learning. Through the teaching of PSHE and RSE, our aim is to nurture children’s personal development from reception, giving them the skills, knowledge and confidence, they need to lead healthy, happy lives.
Our PSHE curriculum is designed to match our pupils’ needs. To support us with our delivery of PSHE and RSE we use planning and resources from 1Decision, PSHE Association, NSPCC, myHappyMind and other sources that we think will enhance children’s knowledge and understanding.
At Moss Hey, we believe that PSHE is an important part of all pupils’ education. Learning about healthy relationships, online harms, mental health and healthy lifestyles will equip children with the tools needed to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life in modern Britain.
